Walking around China Town in Soho, London, I stopped as I saw 2 men collecting the decorations. I thought this guy would be very good to photograph, as his face just told a story. I got loads of shots, but all of the shots had him looking to the side or looking down, but just as I was about to leave, as if it was fate, one of the decorations blew over to my feet. He came walking over to collect it and as he was walking over he looked straight at me, resulting in this shot. Just after this as I put my camera down, he smiled in acknowledgement! It always makes me feel good when someone sees me take a shot, and they smile - it's a sign of recognition that it was ok!
