This is what Photo Every Day is about. This photo was taken the day before and edited and released the next day. I got inspired the day before by seeing a collection of reflections from a photographer I love, called Monaris, and then while out shooting, this shot presented itself! As you’ll know if you’ve listened to me speak, I love to take photos of older men… It’s a thing! And there he was, just sat in this perfect framing in a pub reading his newspaper with a wine glass, all alone. And hey, that’s me in the shot! 

Funny story - it took me maybe 30 minutes to capture this one shot. Not taking the shot. Just time spent walking back and forward being scared to take it. Luckily my reflection and the shot lined up perfectly in the few seconds that I quickly took this in.
