80'S BABY COLLECTION - #038 "AOI" AOI wasn't a happy child as she was a lonely kid. Her father being an American Navy soldier, most Japanese kids were harsh on her since she was considered different. AOI grew up on a Navy base and was only raised by her father. Unfortunately her mother passed away when AOI was only 4 years old. Now an adult, and with the support of her loving father, she wants to open a kindergarten in order to take care of unfortunate kids. + + + I was born in the 80's, and always feel very nostalgic whenever I think of that period of my life. Of course because I was a child, but also because I had the impression people were happier back then. In Japan, the economy was doing great. And everything, from music to anime, was so creative and refreshing. I decided to create a collection named "80's Baby" to pay homage to that era. Sometimes, I wish I was an adult in the 80's.
