Malcolm had been living in the fast lane, quite literally, for most of his life. However, after a few too many accidents both on and off the track, he was forced to retire. He spent his time showing up on masked dancing shows for a few years until his agent called telling him some supermarket on a small island off the coast of California wanted to have him be the face of their new racing team. How one supermarket on a tiny island could afford a race team was beyond him, but who cares? He gets to go back behind the wheel! As soon as the car is finished, of course.
