Most of the residents thought it wasn't a great idea to start a baseball franchise. They were right. The Gulls lasted only a few seasons before going defunct. A small island, like The Point, just can't support a baseball team. However, Martin thinks he can bring them back...he just needs to find the right players, a stadium, and more patrons. He's a dreamer at heart.
