After retiring for teaching in Oakland, Barbara was looking for something calm and easy to occupy her time. She stumbled upon an ad online for a bouncer at a nightclub on a small island off the coast. It sounded like a nice way to relax and still be active. Everyone on the island adores Barb. She runs the door at the club with love but authority. Since she was put in charge of security the club has run as smooth as the floors on the first day of school.
