Martha's basically lived in a garage her whole life. She used to use wrenches as teething toys. She loves the smell of grease and the feeling she gets when she's able to tear down an engine and put it back together faster and better than anyone else in the shop. She might own the place after her father's passing, but she still has to prove herself every day - to the boys that work for her and the islanders that rely on her skills.
