Lyn was born on the island but her family sadly had to relocate when she was four years old. She couldn't stand it on the mainland; it just never felt like home. As soon as she was 18 she left home and moved back to The Point. That was 30 years ago. Today Lyn is the mayor and takes the job very seriously. She still finds time to indulge her passions, mainly rescuing cats and pottery. If she could combine the two she would. In fact she did once. It was very messy.
